Teach for Kaplan Aspect!

The English Language Instructor helps international students achieve their academic goals through English language instruction and preparation for standardized tests. Responsibilities:§ Teach class 6 to 26.5 hour per week, using Kaplan Aspect curriculum.§ Prepare daily lesson plans according to established syllabus.§ Maintain a classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.§ Test, evaluate, and counsel students regarding their academic performance and goals.§ Maintain accurate record keeping for daily attendance and student performance.§ Participate in ongoing teacher training programs.§ Work with area academic management to improve delivery of Kaplan Aspect programs. Position Requirements and/or Skills Required:• Bachelors degree required; TESOL Certificate or Master’s Degree strongly preferred.• Minimum two years prior English language teaching experience; experience with international students preferred.• Superior skills in creating a dynamic, interactive classroom experience• High energy level and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Compensation: $19-22/ hour, depending on experience If you are interested, please email a cover letter and resume to JJ Lee at jj.lee@kaplan.com .
