About the Opportunity - Teacher/Instructor/Camp
This is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience in the Education industry. The work environment is stimulating, challenging, and fun. You'll be surrounded by people who are passionate about what they do. The ideal candidate is either an elementary teacher or a teacher in training.

Teachers lead day campers, ages 5 to 11, through a series of engaging hands-on science activities, mixed with fun games and creative problem solving challenges. Destination Science provides the curriculum, all materials required and we train our staff. The day is planned, structured and busy. Our camps run from mid June to late August. We are looking for teachers/camp instructors for 4 to 11 weeks of summer science fun.

QualificationsHighly energetic and active, as well as creative and resourceful.Inspires others with enthusiasm and positive energy.Excellent interaction skills with children. Familiarity of youth development concepts and programs, especially for school-age children.Classroom and behavior management experience a plus.Excellent people skills. Interacts effectively to promote team spirit and works collaboratively to achieve team goals. Presents a professional, positive image that reflects well on the organization. Elementary teacher or teacher in training preferred.
