Duties:

Chamber Maintenance and Repair (75% effort) - Primary responsibilities include (with external contractor assistance as needed) maintenance and repair of multi-place, multi compartment hyperbaric chambers and associated systems. Perform periodic checkouts and tests. Maintain documentation. Protect patients from injury while performing maintenance duties.
Chamber Operator (25% effort) Serve as a scheduled hyperbaric chamber operator, as part of operations team. Off-shift and weekend hours required, must be available for on-call.

Qualifications:

Associate’s degree or equivalent technical school training; BA/BS preferred; CHT desirable; Familiarity with relevant NFPA and PVHO-1 Codes. Experience as hyperbaric oxygen pressure chamber operator. Must have strong mechanical background. Additional electrical background desirable. Must have experience working with high pressure components (pneumatic and manual valves, piping, filters, compressors, etc). Must be a team player, with the ability to communicate effectively. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Physically able to climb, and to lift 50 lbs.

Hours of Work:

Forty hours per week or as needed to accomplish defined duties; participation in off-shift and weekends will be required. The demands of the position will require a flexible work schedule to fit the operational needs such as maintenance-repair procedures that cannot be carried out during regular working hours.
