Temporary Part-Time Recruiter

If so, Educate Online (formerly known as Catapult Online), America’s leading provider of live at-home tutoring for at-risk students, is seeking a part-time temporary Recruiter to help build our New York & New Jersery regional teams.

We are seeking temporary part-time Recruiter to facilitate the recruiting and hiring of part-time sales and marketing employees. This is a great opportunity for someone seeking to gain additional experience to launch his/her career in the Human Resources profession. This position will begin in early April and continue for approximately 4 – 6 months.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

- Conducting recruiting activities such as resume mining and initial interviews with potential candidates using our applicant tracking system. Conducting final interviews with candidates, making the hiring decision and preparing and delivering offer letters

- Coordinating and facilitating community recruiting activities such as job/career fairs, College /University events, open houses, and developing corporate recruiting materials/packages for these activities

- Posting/advertising positions in local print and various internet job boards

- Collecting and verifying completion of new hire paperwork for hired candidates

- Coordination/conducting background check and fingerprinting as required

- Assisting in coordinating the training process along with the Training Manager. Facilitating initial in-house orientation.


- Must be comfortable working in goal-focused environment
- Must have strong communication skills
- Must be available to work 25 hours per week (5 hours each day), however actual schedule is flexible
- Must be able to pass a fingerprinting and background check
- Spanish Bilingual skill preferred
- 1 -2 years full cycle recruiting experience preferred
- Previous experience using an applicant tracking system preferred


We offer a competitive rate of $18/hour plus bonus eligibility.
