With general supervision and support from the management team and Human Resource department, the temporary field recruiter will be responsible for the full cycle recruiting work for positions in Pearson VUE from sourcing, qualifying, initiative interviewing, to extending offers, contracting and reference checking. The field recruiter will act as first direct contract for most new employees in Pearson VUE.CORE COMPETENCIES:1. Staffing and Hiring knowledge2. Action Oriented3. Creativity4. Manages DiversityRESPONSIBILITIES:The field Recruiter will partner with assigned divisions to creatively recruit and hire qualified, skilled candidates with the required skills and aptitude to meet current and future business needs. The recruiter will be responsible for developing and executing the recruiting strategy for needed positions and will work with the hiring managers to proactively assist with the develop of their staffing strategy and workforce planning. BA in Business Administration or Human Resources; or equivalent experience.At least 3 years of high volume recruiting experience. Recruiting industry experience strongly preferred. Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Excellent Communication skills (listening, verbal, and written) are a must.Demonstrated organizational and analytical skills.Interpersonal capability with people in different levels.Strong time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.Experience with Microsoft Office and Windows applications.Knowledge of on-line job boards, web hire, and referral programs preferredPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (Listed in order of importance with estimated amount of time spent on each task)70% Staffing & recruiting - includes sourcing, screening, qualifying, initiative interviewing, tracking and recording, scheduling interview appointments for functional department managers, providing applicant feedback, conducting background checks, references, salary negotiation, and extending offers. Responsible for all the technical recruiting for Pearson VUE.10% Preparing and ensuring all the paper work and document files are completed for new employment.10% Communicating with functional department managers and Human Resource director on recruiting and sourcing strategy, forming and clarifying descriptions of opening positions, and reporting recruiting progress. 5% Researching different recruiting channels to discover new candidates.5% Other duties as assigned.WORK ENVIRONMENT AND CONDITIONSPhysical requirements: Normal office environment, ability to sit, stand and operate office equipmentOther: Willing to work overtime if necessary
