FrontRow is a young, dynamic company, dedicated to enhancing the learning success of students all over the world. Our technology is installed and used in classrooms all over the USA, together with an increasing amount of other consumer and professional electronics.
FrontRow is offering a challenging position to be responsible for identifying, securing, and servicing our direct and dealer sales within an exclusive geographical region. This individual will focus on increasing sales, relationship development and overall business development. They will also manage existing relationships with FrontRow customers within a defined territory and work closely with the Director of Sales to capture and develop new customers within the region. We are currently looking for a candidate to cover the Chicago area.
Position responsibilities:
· Building the FrontRow business within a predefined territory to meet FrontRow growth and performance expectations.
· Identifying sales opportunities and working with the FrontRow Inside Sales team, business partners and marketing staff to close business opportunities.
· With the assistance of the Strategic Accounts Manager, where appropriate, creating plans to capture enterprise accounts and close enterprise business via the channel.
· Orchestrating follow-up sales activities such as training, demonstrations and other on-site involvement.
· Representing FrontRow as a leader in classroom amplification at sales conventions, trade shows, and sales seminars.
· Providing forecast sales information for the region by product, by customer and also by market potential to Director of Sales.
· Maintaining account files using Sales Logix software.
· Creating plans to accomplish sales objectives by leveraging existing distribution channels, current accounts and prospects.
· Resolving account issues by escalating or delegating to the appropriate management, business group and/or technical resource team.
· Maintaining regular verbal and in-person contact with each key account or target.
· Providing aid in whatever manner is necessary to facilitate the resources of FrontRow to create an environment that allows the customer/prospect to easily transact business with FrontRow.
· Recommending and implementing pricing and marketing strategies.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline.
· Minimum of 3 years sales experience.
· Knowledge of general education market and distributor channels a plus.
· Experience presenting concepts in a clear manner to customers through presentations, demonstrations and proposals.
· Understanding of strategic selling and consultative selling processes, including demonstrated success participating and succeeding in strategic selling and consultative sales environments.
· Must be able to work in an unstructured and unregulated team environment to achieve organizational and personal goals. In other words, this person must be a self-motivated employee to achieve team and individual objectives.
· Experience selling to distributor and direct accounts; including the proven ability to penetrate and build new business in major accounts and conduct high level presentations to senior management of school districts.
· Minimum 3 years experience managing an outside sales territory. Educational market would be an advantage.
· Excellent oral and written skills required.
· Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
· Skilled in business planning and account management.
· Aptitude for learning new technologies.
· An understanding of business processes, business automation and the document and information distribution challenges that organizations face
· Willingness to travel.
