George Mason University, Student Accounts Office invites applicants for the position of Third-Party Account Representative.

The incumbent will support the client service operation for third-party/outside billing and collections. Position is responsible for reviewing and entering valid tuition assistance authorizations for accurate billing; and identifying, verifying and recording payments and/or refunds. Researches and responds to walk-in, telephone and written inquiries regarding student and third-party accounts.

General Qualifications:
Applicants should be able to work in a high-volume/high-stress team-based environment. Customer service and effective communication skills are considered essential. The selected candidate must have the following skills: excellent oral and written communication, organization, analytical, problem-solving and computer data entry experience. Must be detail-oriented and willing to take the initiative. Demonstrates experience with an automated billing system, word processing, e-mail and spreadsheets. SunGard Banner systems experience desired.
