Training Specialist

Job Summary:

Designs, develops and conducts specialized training programs for all Merchant Link employees.  Creates and updates support documentation needed for these programs.

 

Job Duties:Researches, organizes and conducts training programs, seminars, and conferences for all levels of employees.   Consults with employees across the company to design and modify material for new training programs.  Reviews, evaluates, and modifies existing and proposed programs and recommends appropriate changes. Develops new programs and instructional materials. Partners with subject matter experts to provide input for course content.  Prepares written training collateral, ensuring programs are integrated and aligned with existing or future programs. Participates in the development of training related business tools and methods that reflect corporate and industry direction.  Proactively initiates performance improvement recommendations to business partners.  Conducts training needs analysis and then provides input on present and future training requirements.

 

Job Requirements:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. At least two years of training experience in a corporate environment. Excellent communication and presentation skills are required with the ability to speak in front of large or small audiences. Constantly relates Learning & Development results to business performance and can diagnose performance deficiencies and create and implement solutions that have positive business impact.
