Treatment Coordinator - Foster Care (social work)

Position Summary

The position involves the supervision of Treatment Foster Care parents and overseeing the overall treatment of the children and or teenage population placed in their homes. Candidate will be responsible for annual parent evaluations and in-home training of parents when required. Strong clinical skills and the ability to multi-task is a must. Candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing Individual Service Plans geared toward the safety, success and growth of the clients served by the program. Candidate must be a strong advocate of children and teenagers in the community, school, and placement to ensure success. Weekly to bi-weekly home visits are required as well as attendance to interagency team meetings if required, IEP meetings, and bi-annual ISP meetings. Candidate will be responsible for facilitating the ISP meetings and reflecting the program in a professional manner. Candidates must possess excellent verbal and written skills, problem solving skills, and be prepared to eventually train incoming parents after extensive individual training. On call crisis intervention is required and is scheduled by Team Leader on a rotation basis

Requirements:Must possess a bachelor’s degree in a human service’s related field and possess a WV Social Work License or be license eligible. Must have a driver’s license, reliable vehicle and proper clearances. Must be willing to work non-traditional hours.
