Elegance International, [ei.edu] offers a comprehensive, hands-on education in all areas of professional makeup.  Established in 1966 EI was the first school of professional makeup in the world, and offers three distinct programs of study that are taught by qualified instructors who are all working professionals in the makeup fields.  Elegance International is an ACCSCT (The Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology) member school.

The Vice President of Admissions is responsible for continuing to refine the vision, strategy, operating initiatives and daily management of the admissions operation to deliver on both the short and long term new student recruitment goals for Campus Hollywood. This includes the management of the Director of Admissions for each entity, admissions training and development and admissions analysis to assure that new start rate plans are achieved while supporting the high quality standards, complete compliance with school and regulatory policies and a high quality student experience that has been established by our institutions over many years of operation. This person works closely with the Vice President/directors of each school to assure a successful new student recruitment support and admissions operation.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDirectly supervises Director of Admission and all admissions personnel. Implement Admissions strategy and practices within each school or campus; monitor and report on progress and resolve specific campus issues.Oversees hiring of all admissions staff, maintaining staffing plans, development, motivation, and ongoing management of such staff including monthly, quarterly and annual reviews; new hire and veteran training; ongoing observations; turnover prevention via training and support provided. Provide Strategic Business Unit-wide admissions training efforts to grow capabilities, and performance and improve overall outcomes.Assist in the development and implementation of programs that enhance school’s ability to attract, retain and motivate admissions staffSpecial projects and other duties as assigned by executive management



This is a full-time position that requires you to work 40 or more hours per week.

QUALIFICATIONS 

  EXPERIENCEBachelors Degree required, MBA preferred.Minimum 10 years of increasingly responsible experience managing an admissions department, particularly admissions recruitment or intangible productsMinimum 10 years of leadership experience supervising teams of seasoned and inexperienced admissions representativesSolid understanding of all areas of admissions compliance, re-admissions, financial aid, education, placement etc.Strong analytical capability with an ability to read through results and bring to action in short time frames.Confidentiality, integrity, and ability to handle difficult situations a mustExtensive experience with handling employee relationsProven ability to inspire, motivate and lead an admissions team

EDUCATION Four-year college degree in business, administration or related field or relevant equivalent experience.  Masters degree preferred.
