Web Media and Content Specialist

 

American Jewish University, located in  the Bel Air section of Los Angeles, is seeking a creative individual to help promote web presence of our university, primarily our undergraduate recruitment site.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

1. Create and maintain web content such as Audio Video pictures and text.

2. Maintain and regularly update our website with concentration on undergraduate Admissions and Academic affairs.

3. Create and oversee university presence in social networking sites such as MySpace and Facebook.

4. Help with and monitors web orientated features, including online chat, web videos, and virtual campus tour and student/staff blogging.

5. Review and update online forms.

6. Work with faculty and students to create and maintain online course material.

7. Participate in other web content management.

 

Essentials

 Excellent people skills, ability to work with faculty, students and staff. Creative. Able to produce and edit short video clips, take pictures and design content. Experience in web content and social networking. Can closely follow procedures and instructions.Good verbal and written communication skills.Good knowledge in:Media creating and editing tools.Web development tools such as Adobe products. Knowledge of how to search and be added to social networks.Quick learner.
