For our Wilmington, MA location we are currently seeking an Analog Flow Development Engineer for:

 

§  The definition and implementation of CAD flows using the state-of-the-art EDA tools for Analog/RF IC design in deep sub-micron processes, and

§  To provide technical leadership in the development and deployment of CAD flows by working with Analog/RF circuit design and CAD engineers.

§  Specific job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

o Ensuring that the Process Design Kit (PDK) satisfies the circuit designer requirement;

o Development of layout extraction and simulation methodology in small geometry processes.

o Development of utility CAD tools to enhance the efficiency of the circuit designer.

o Providing CAD methods to perform electromigration and IR-drop analysis, ensuring that the integration of analog blocks into complex System-on-a-Chip (SOC) is efficient and reliable.

 

Requirements include:

BSEE/MSEE with a minimum of three to five years of experience in CAD engineering with exposure to Analog/RF circuit design. Demonstrated experience in the development of CAD tools and Analog IC design methodology development.A good working knowledge of EDA tools from Cadence, Synopsys and Mentor Graphics for custom IC design and physical verification.Prior experience with SKILL, Perl, Tcl/TK, etc. scripting language.Good understanding of analog design or good programming skills and CAD exposure. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate and communicate ideas and concepts.
