APPLICATION ENGINEER

We are seeking an experienced individual for a long-term temporary assignment in our Ohio facility.  As Application Engineer at MEAU, you will support the Commercial and Industrial Packaged Solutions Strategic Sales Manager’s sales activities by providing technical support of MEAU packaged product and application solutions.

 

Other job duties include:

 

· Develop packaged automation and drive system configurations and develop quotations for these configurations for field sales personnel and channel partners

· Assist with Project Management of packaged solutions orders

· Develop and maintain technical documentation for packaged solutions

· Assist Acorn engineering in the development of new MEAU packaged solutions products

 

Job requirements include: 



· BS in Electrical Engineering

· 2-3 years of application/design experience with industrial power products (circuit breakers, line reactors, power supplies, motor control) and automation products (PLC, VFD, HMI, Servo)

· Machine or process control panel design and build experience

· Experience with industrial control panel cooling technologies: fans, air conditioners, heat exchangers

· Familiarity with NEC and UL Standards

· Computer proficiency and MUST have hands-on experience using AutoCAD, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

· Solid written and verbal communications skills including presentation skills

· Organization skills, i.e. for documents, demos, work area and time management
