Newark is looking for a highly motivated Area Sales Manager that would lead the sales team to achieve sales and margin objectives in an assigned geographic area.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead sales team to include OAM?s and Branch Managers Manage performance and develop talent to ensure that highest level of performance within the team Target resources at the appropriate customers/segments to maximize sales and profit Develop plans to penetrate geographic marketplace Drive efficiencies through effective process implementation and resource planning Manage expenses within assigned locations Effective execution of marketing initiatives and campaigns Manage vendor rep relationships with key vendors Develop relationships with key personnel at top customers within assigned area Contribute to sales channel strategy Drive change programs Lead team environment across sales channels and with headquarters

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
College degree required, MBA a plus Previous P&L responsibility a plus Proven selling skills which includes specific experience for Inside and Field Sales roles 7+ years sales management experience Multi-branch responsibility
