Must create demand and grow revenue base in all product categories including hardware, software, and services. Must be able to manage distributor inventory. Strong communications skills across all levels of the organization. Strong Excel skills are a must. Must be willing to travel extensively. Candidate needs strong networking, telephony, and channel development experience1. Selling/Account Mgmt./Customer Service a. Attain minimum of 100% of assigned sales quotab. Develop strategic sales and marketing plans to drive distributor sales growth across all products and assist to turn inventory every 45 days.c. Provide distributor support and customer service. Provide both technical and sales training as required. Nurture relationships with distribution sales reps, customers, and partnersd. Manage customer service issues both internal and external to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and retentione. Responsible for developing annual business plans with distributors that will include but is not limited to; annual sales budgets, marketing communications programs, sales promotions, quarterly business reviews, and trainingf. Identify the need for promotional materials and programs to enhance the distributor?s market position and improve selling strategy. g. Provide corrective actions and recovery plans if results are not at or above target. Play an active role in customer, market, and competitive analysish. Ability to work with cross-functional teams to find solutions for distributors. Ability to uncover problems, identifying solutions and bring the company?s resources together to resolve issues quicklyi. Must possess strong negotiating skills to constructively deal with conflicting goals between organizationsj. Work with distributor to provide timely, accurate & complete sales reports and forecasts, coordinate effective promotions, and gather product planning input. Attend required sales conference callsb. Work with distributor to maintain proper inventory levels and manage returns. Obtain and report POS monthlyc. Provide thorough market feedback to managementd. Give a high degree of attention to individual ASM performance against the assigned business planPlan activities, agendas, programs with achieving business budget always in mindGive high attention to the plan numbers, current and projected performance to that plan3. Product Knowledge a. Maintain a high level of product technical knowledgeb. Maintain a high level of competitive product awarenessc. Stay current with changes in technologies and communicate this knowledge to your distributorsMANAGEMENT:Managing all aspects of the dealer business with Panasonic, concisely and professionally and ensure that the territory has the optimum number of capable authorized resellers and partners to maximize the revenue opportunities in the territory.PROBLEM-SOLVING/KNOW HOW: Exercising judgment in presenting and selling the best product to the customer to solve their problem or get their job done. Ability to work through technology and service related problems. Effectively navigate the internal organization to resolve issues and customer requirements. B.S. in business preferred. Extensive travel required.COMMUNICATIONS:This is the key ingredient for success in this position. Must constantly communicate with customers, distributors, management, and internal personnel in a very clear and positive manner. This requires very professional conversation, presentation, and problem solving skills.
