Account Manager - Aerospace & Defense

This is a unique opportunity to be part of an engineering organization with over 70 years experience in producing high quality, world-renowned test and measurement equipment. As one of our Test & Measurement Account Managers, you will be part of a customer-focused team dedicated to maximizing sales through the development of new business and the servicing of Aerospace & Defense customers utilizing a solutions-based sales approach. Products include spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, communication test sets and signal generators. We are currently hiring an Account Manager to support the following territory: Raytheon, Lockheed Martin & BAE in the Northeast Region.

Responsibilites

Understanding customer needs and identifying how Rohde & Schwarz products can provide technical solutions.

Creating new business opportunities drive new customer relationships.

Determining approaches to sales assignments to achieve Key Sales Objectives.

Developing and managing regular sales forecasts based on KSOs and the territory assignment.

Providing input and feedback to product marketing, service and development groups on customer product and application requirements.

Requirements

BSEE (or equivalent).

Three+ years of sales experience.

An understanding of current electronic industry technologies, Aerospace and Defense applications including Microwave and Satellite applications.

The ideal candidates will have a passion for selling, an intense focus on customer service, and an overwhelming desire to succeed.

Excellent communication (verbal and written) and customer interface skills.
