Account Supply Chain Manager

 Position:  Account Supply Chain Manager.  Position reports to both PC BA Supply Chain Director and to Global Account Director of Customer 

Location:  Bay Area, California

 

Development Responsibilities:

· Inventory turn over

· Cash flow

· Minimize excess and obsolete

· VMI (SMC, SMI, DFF)

· Supplier Localization

· On-Time Delivery

· Inbound Freight Cost

· AVL Optimization

· Cost Takedown and Materials ‘profit’

· Key Performance Indicator Development

 

Operations Responsibilities:

· Support end-customer in all aspects of sourcing and supply-chain management undertaken by Elcoteq

· Support internal Operations / Purchasing / Sourcing to achieve optimum supply chain solution in order to minimize the cost and maximize efficiency and time to market on the Global Basis within Customer Business Model.

 

Requirements:5-10 Years experience in supply-chain, materials management, purchasing, sourcing/commodity management within plant and/or corporate roles.Past experience in working very closely with end-customers on complex supply-chain issues.Experience in working on complex mechanics and electro-mechanics design and sourcing programs Ability to work successfully in cross-functional matrix organizationAble to build relationships, and influence internal and external stakeholdersSolid understanding of end-to-end supply-chainGood communication and leadership skills and flexibility to be able to work on a Global basis (Europe, Asia and Americas)Willing to travel 30-40% of the time on Global basis.Good understanding of horizontal and vertical business modelsSome Project Management Skills would be advantageous
