Application Engineer – Sensors

A worldwide leader in the factory and process automation industry has a current need for an Application Engineer for Technical Phone Support in its Factory Automation Division.

Tasks Will Include:

· Responding to Factory Automation technical customer inquiries related to Factory Automation products (proximity sensors, encoders, interconnect devices)

· Communicating with the field sales and customers to support product sales

· Handling product-related customer questions

· Working with sales to obtain detailed information regarding new application product ideas

· Completing, maintaining, and processing pertinent paperwork and records

Experience & Skills Required:

· Excellent telephone & interpersonal skills

· Strong organizational skills

· Sales interest

· Familiarity with Windows software

Education Required:BSEE, BSET or comparable technical field
