Applications Engineer

Provides customer support during equipment installation, implements projects and presents technical information. Duties include review & analysis of performance results, development & execution of enhancement plans, making technical presentations, and providing guidance to other members.

In this position the incumbent will support the Company's semiconductor equipment sales efforts by delivering technical presentations and demonstrations on our cutting edge technology. Provides on-going technical support to customers with solutions to application problems associated with machine functionality and customer process and production result requirements. Conducts complex optical and mechanical tests to optimize machine performance according to customer specifications. Gather, analyzes and evaluates data on customer needs to identify and implement continuous improvement efforts to achieve customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidate will possess a BS degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Physics Chemistry or other related field. Business and computer science coursework preferred. At least 3 years related industry experience preferred. The incumbent will have strong communication skills combined with technical analysis and fine tuned problem solving skills.
