Area Sales Manager

Position Description: This position will be based at our CMD headquarter location in Milpitas, California. 10+ years of account sales and sales management experience in the US for active/passive semiconductor components required. Targeted revenue generation will be focused on diversified protection market segments, including accounts within the networking, telecom and industrial market segments. Direct management and active engagement of US Sales Rep and Distributor channels required. An entrepreneurial and self-starter personality key requirement for this position. Travel is required.

Primary Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities:

The position is responsible for driving our sales efforts in the assigned territory by motivating and supporting sales reps and distributors to increase the number of design-wins.

 

Responsibilities include:

- Drive consultive sales/design-win process across US.

- Present CMD value proposition to customers

- Revenue focus from CMD focused diversified protection market segments

- Active engagement with US Sales Reps to increase focus on CMD protection product lines

 

Incumbent Qualifications:

Education:  BS in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent

Experience:

10+ years experience in accounts sales and sales management focused within active/passive semiconductor sales in US market. Technical sales experience (FAE) experience a plus.
