Assembler/Field Service Engineer

A small but rapidly growing technology company engaged in the refurbishment and repair of excimer laser modules is seeeking an experienced assembler /field service engineer to provide service and technical support to our enduser customers and internal assembly and test work.  Technical product expertise will be used to perform field service activities associated with excimer laser equipment internally or at service sites. Activities include installing, maintaining, servicing, troubleshooting and repairing products at endusers.  Represents company with customers and assumes accountability for customer satisfaction with service. 

+ Analyzes, diagnoses and troubleshoots technical equipment problems via telephone or at customer sites.

+  Assembles and tests excimer laser modules.

+  Installs, repairs, modifies and performs preventative maintenance on excimer lasers both at the factory and customer locations.

+  Travels as required performing service activities at customer sites.

+  Required:  technical knowledge in optics, electronics, and semiconductor and manufacturing equipment

+  Required:  minimum of 2 years experience in repairing and maintaining similar equipment and interfacing with customers.

+  Must be able to successfully meet customer site access requirements.
