Audio Processing Engineer II

Summary Statement:An Audio Hardware Engineer II is an entry-level or intermediate-level position. This engineer will be working on project teams where they will design and implement low-noise analog and digital circuitry in high-fidelity audio processing equipment; additionally, they may be called upon to do maintenance-of-line (MOL) work as needed. Representative Duties:· Designs audio and power supply circuitry that meet the desired performance, cost, and time-to-market requirements of the product being developed· Works closely with wireless and digital hardware engineers to seamlessly integrate circuit blocks on complex designs· Works closely with Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Layout, Corporate Quality, Marketing, and other members of a cross-functional team to help satisfy the requirements of the overall design· Provides supporting design documentation, including design specifications, tuning procedures, experimental results, design options, tradeoffs, and reasoning for the final design choice· Performs audio quality testing on the product being developed, which includes conducting thorough bench test and listening test evaluations of prototypes· Other duties as assigned Requirements: (1 year of college is equivalent to 2 years of experience) BS degree in Electrical Engineering with 2 years work experience as an electrical engineer Basic knowledge of and experience with low-noise audio design and power supply design Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work effectively within a team environment A general interest in and experience working with audio electronic gear is a plusAPPLY NOW!
