Job Description
As a key member of the Internal Audit team, responsibilities will include lead role in performing various internal audits throughout QUALCOMM, evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of controls over company assets, compliance with company/department policies and processing efficiency.

Supervise assigned staff, prepare written audit reports that include recommendations to management for improvements in controls, perform follow-up reviews of recommendations made to management and report status of management corrective actions to Internal Audit management.

Travel to international locations will be required.

Skills/Experience
Finance/Accounting professional with minimum six to eight of experience, preferably with two to four years in a public accounting or internal audit role. An in-depth knowledge of accounting policies and procedures, internal controls and international audits/operations is also required.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills with an ability to interface and influence at all levels. Experience in both financial and process/operational audits and a proven track record in planning, executing, meeting deadlines and providing management with recommendations for process improvement.

Additional Skills
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. Ability to effectively work with all levels of management. Ability to reach agreement on audit findings and recommendations with auditees. Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and effective use of conflict resolution skills.

Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA or CIA strongly preferred.
