BEA Pre Sales Engineer Experience (Years): 8 Overview: Pre Sales engineer (BEA products) Alternative Technology (an Arrow company) Founded in 1986 Alternative Technology (ATI) is the leading North American Speciality Distributor for Value Added Resellers who need products and services targeted at; thin Client / server based computing, Infrastructure / Edge, Security, Network Management, Virtualization, and Wireless. Pre Sales Engineer (BEA Products) As part of our value added services, weoffer full Engineering Practice services to Design, implement and maintain our products. Contuined growth has created several new positions in our Consulting practice; thus the need for another Sales Engineer. The position serves as our subject matter expert in BEA products; especially Aqualogic and Weblogic products. this individual performs as the primary field technical resource for the ATI sales force and our VAR's sales force for technologies and products. Works as the key technical advocate for our offerings. The individual works from their current home - no relocation required This position also: - Provides user assessments then designs and implements suggestions. -Designs and conducts training for sales certification and solution selling. - Represents BEA products and technologies enabling the partner to sell technologies and products to maximize deal effectiveness -Works with sales team to profile target partners -Works with vendors to define solution bundles and virtual machines -Creates and runs product demos -Understands the Var's business and crafts an overall solution vision - Travels throughout the sales territory (United States). Mnimum Knowledge / skills -6 to 8 years of relevant experience -Technical expertise in BEAproduct sets; especially Weblogic and Aqualogic Travel will be required up to 70% of the time.Work from home - no relocation required
