Responsibilities

 

This position is responsible for the administration and communication of the company’s health and welfare plans.  The Benefits Analyst works closely with the Benefits Manager and Senior Benefits Analyst in planning, developing, benchmarking and redesigning benefit programs.

 Conducts new hire benefit orientationsPrepares benefit communication materials, such as benefit presentations and employee communicationsAssists with annual open enrollment and renewal process Ensure compliance to all applicable state, federal and ERISA laws impacting the development and administration of Company benefit programs and policiesAdministers leaves of absences in accordance with applicable state and federal lawCoordinate workers compensation claimsAccurately communicates benefits to employees, answers questions, and assists employees in resolving benefit matters with carriers Responsible for COBRA administrationCoordinates on-site benefit events with vendors Extracts and formats benefit reports from various systems for analysis Audits employee benefit elections, such as life events and monitors overage dependentsMaintains employee benefit files Works on special benefits projects as assigned 

Requirements

 Minimum of 3 years related human resources or benefits experienceBenefits Certification desiredGlobal Benefits experience desiredExcellent verbal and written communication skills Must be a strong team player, have excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and time management skills Must have the ability to work independently and interface with employees at all levels of the organization Ability to maintain confidentialitySome travel required
