Billing and Collections Specialist

Amkor is currently looking for a Billing and Collections Specialist for our Chandler, AZ office. The primary function of this position is to be responsible for the management of assigned accounts for billing and collections with supervision within established guidelines and procedures. This position operates under minimal supervision with a high degree of latitude for independent judgment.

 

Major responsibilities of this position include:

 Customer service account assignments to include billing and detailed checking of invoice informationCollection of key business clients and daily contact with customers for payment on accounts. Reconciliation and resolution of information to correctly invoice customers. Includes calling customers to arrange payment and resolve past due invoices.Analysis and investigation of moderate customer issues including, but not limited to invoice validation and payment disputesAudit and management reportingFollow-up on invoice questions from the customer which include interaction with sales and international factoriesWork closely with management for complex issues as needed

 

Required Qualifications:

 

This position requires an Associates Degree or combination of 3 years of combined education and experience related to billing and collections and/or finance. Must be an independent self starter who relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Must have good time management, organizational skills, be detail oriented and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment. The qualified candidate will have strong reconciliation, communication and conflict management skills. Strong Excel skills are required (Pivot tables, V-look up etc.). Working knowledge of Oracle, AS400, SAP, and Lotus Notes is desired.
