The Business Analyst will analyze, understand, and troubleshoot issues within the Oracle financial systems applications, reporting tools and interface systems; Work with business unit management and staff for the definition, development and implementation on all future enhancement and/or integration projects for our Financial Reporting system; Consult and coordinate with IT staff to design, develop and enhance automated business systems; Develop ad hoc reports as required to meet business needs. Participate in other support and development efforts for process improvements and future enhancements related to our financial system applications and reporting tools. Ensure integrity of Chart of Accounts values and structure maintenance. Setup and maintain cross-validation rules and financial system controls.Provide proper support to end users in accounting and finance group in a timely and professional manner. Configure and troubleshoot Oracle applications to function within the defined business processes. Create and maintain FSG reports. Define user securities and responsibilities. Ensure data integrity of reports developed with the various tools: Discoverer, Oracle, Cognos, Business Objects, etc.Ensure compliance of internal accounting and reporting processes and continuous improvement of those processes.Develop and provide training to users in new Oracle applications and processes. BA/BS in accounting or finance.3 ? 5 years in accounting or financial analysis experience. Minimum three years experience in supporting Oracle Financial Applications 11i: General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Fixed Assets, FSG, ADI, Discoverer.Highly skilled in Excel. Effective interpersonal skills and analytical skills.High degree of technical, written, oral communication and PC experience.Ability to work with and maintain confidential information.
