Business Info Systems Manager

Basic Function The Business Information Systems Manager (this is not a managerial opportunity) is an empowered team member who will work with Panasonic Avionics Corporation internal customers, specifically marketing, order management, program management, manufacturing, and quality. The analyst will help to identify, develop and implement technology-based solutions for the business environments to improve service, lower operating costs and/or increase revenue. The BSA will lead a systematic approach to elicit, organize, and document system requirements in order to ensure that the project team can develop solutions that meet the customer's needs.Accountabilities Principal Responsibilities include (but may not be limited to):- Support the analysis and project efforts for multiple Oracle Applications, including Sales Online & Bid-to-Order modules- Provide support for the manufacturing, quality, and distribution business systems- Act as primary liaison between users/customer and IT teams- Identify and communicate project risks and recommend solutions- Review/analyze a business environment and work with key users and Service Managers to identify improvements- Manage expectations and scope- Work closely with the technical staff, and functional department(s) to ensure functionality meets requirements- Assist in the creation of user guides, reference manuals, and training materials as appropriate- Train/Support super-users in new business processes as needed.- Support world-wide operations, which will require on-call status.Required Skills:- 5+ years experience with Oracle Applications, or similar ERP system, in multiple areas, including but not limited to Sales, Marketing, Inventory, Manufacturing, and Quality.- Experience leading teams in requirement analysis efforts.- Ability to translate business requirements into high-level and detailed functional specifications- Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently as well as a team environment- Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical staff and convey complex ideas both verbally and in written form- Ability to work at a detailed level while maintaining and retaining the 'big picture' of the overall system design..- Structured approach in management of day-to-day and long-term activitiesDesirable, but not Required Skills:- Experience with Oracle Applications Inventory, Receiving, and Shipping- Experience with Discoverer- Experience with TOAD, SQL*Plus, Noetix- Knowledge/experience of Optio, or other reporting applications- Knowledge/experience of the operations of the avionics industry- Business process reengineering experience- Japanese language https://recruiter.kenexa.com/panasonic/cc/CCJobDetailAction.ss?command=CCViewDetail&ccid=bupJEdUjsTs%3D&job_REQUISITION_NUMBER=14990
