This opportunity will be located in San Jose, CA.  Responsibilites:Conducts business analysis, provide sales and operations plan, internal and external inventory modeling and develop price management process.  Day-to-day activities:  Capacity Planning:  Provide short and long-term production/capacity planning for worldwide wafer and packaging factories.  Coordinate with Operations, Product Line, and Finance on capacity expansions if needed. Demand Forecasting: Coordinate demand forecast data acquisition among Worldwide Sales and Marketing organizations and Business Units.  Create demand validation models and drive corrections in demand planning. New Product Ramping: Manage all new product planning activities, including: Capacity and Material Planning, Forecast Consensus Achievement, Development and attainment of revenue plans. Model and manage supply flow and capacity to support and attain quarterly revenue plans.Inventory Management and Modeling: Manage internal and channel inventory to meet customer service, turns and financial targets. - Data collection from sales, marketing, supply chain and company database -  Analyze inventory report, identify problem areas for detail analysis-  Categorize issues, communicate to product line owners for actions-  Follow up actions result and set goal for improvement-  Leverage inventory goal vs. other competitors -  Develop inventory model  Price managementDevelop price review process and support product lines and sales to establish price strategy for contract negotiation and system price set up.-  Determine price strategies with marketing and system maintenance quarterly-  Analyze quote rejection and loss of business-  Review system anomalies-  Review capacity constraints and adjust price accordingly together with marketing-  Review contract price, terms and preparation for new contract price proposal.-  Price competitiveness analysis and modeling-  Develop business process for price analysis, review and communications among planning, product lines, regions and contract administration. Required Skills:· 5+ years of  experience in one of the following areas:  Business Planning, Operations Management, Management/Operations Consultancy, Supply Chain Management, Strong quantitative /analytical capability.  · Strong database management skills· Communication skills (verbal, textual, presentation, listening)· Ability to effectively interface across, up, and down FSC hierarchy· Analytical skills for recognize trends and acting accordingly· Understanding of finance and the impact of your choices on the bottom line· Ability to work under strict deadlines and multiple managers· Considerable knowledge of spreadsheets, reporting programs· Able to present and substantiate decisions & position to upper management· Forecast knowledge helpful· Strong math aptitude, ability to build mathematical models· Strong and effective user of planning tools (I2, Excel, Business Objects, etc) Education:BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, MathMBA strongly preferred  Click here to apply directly to Fairchild Scott MoralesSenior Technical RecruiterFairchild Semiconductor scott.morales@fairchildsemi.com 888-725-2025 x2165   logET();PauseFooter(false);
