Business Process Analyst (Atlanta, GA)

Job Description
The Business Analyst is responsible for the Firethorn report design, creation, and delivery process. This person will work with internal and external customers to perform data analysis, requirements definition, report design, and other related duties to support all ad hoc and scheduled reporting tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform detailed data analysis, daily/weekly/monthly reporting, and excellent communication to provide a consistent and high quality experience for our customers
Work with respective project managers and external partners to define business requirements and be able to prioritize needs based on those defined business requirements
Have a complete technical understanding of our data, data models, and presentation tools, and be able to explain these to people with various levels of technical backgrounds

Skills/Experience
Cognos ReportNet Development - Version 8 preferred. (2+ years experience)
Framework Manager (2+ years experience)
Oracle PL/SQL (3+ years experience)
Cognos Analysis Studio - Power Play (2+ years experience)
Experience with user acceptance testing
PL/SQL (3+ years experience)
Cognos Framework Manager (2+ years experience)
Full life cycle (design, develop, test) for Business Intelligence or Business Activity Monitoring solutions
Experience translating functional requirements into reporting objects and reporting data requirements
Experience creating automation scripts for deployment

Education Requirements
Position requires a four-year degree and 4+ years progressive experience with reporting/business intelligence/data analysis.
