Purpose We're looking for a highly motivated individual with the capability to review and update the complex business processes and systems used to manage $2B in annual non production procurement.  The Internshi Project Goal is to assist in developing world class processes to effectively control the spend globally and scale to support 2X this amount in five years. Principle Accountabilities/Duties This internship's purpose is to partner with existing NPP teams (Sourcing, Contracting, Ops) to review critical business processes and develop solutions that allow the teams to effectively manage an increasing workload while maintaining process integrity.  Business process targets include: - Contract management and review - Sourcing process - NPP P2P tool configuration and interoperability - Metric development and integrity   Requirements Minimum of 75 successfully completed course hours.  Course load tailored to bachelors degree in general business, engineering or supply chain management discipline.  Excellent organizational, project planning and problem solving skills.  Demonstrated practical experience in business process improvement.  Understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles.  Strong oral and written skills.
