Summary:
Our Business Analyst Team is responsible for understanding our business processes and deployment of these processes in our Global Business Systems footprint. Working in partnership with the business process owners, super-users, and end-users, ensure full adoption, effective usage, and efficient deployment of our IT solutions. The IT mission is to integrate a disparate applications environment into a common, global portfolio, centered on the Oracle eBusiness Suite with Omnify PDM, and Kewill shipping and trade compliance. Our Business Analysts are responsible for effectively managing the change control process, gathering the end-user requirements, and communicating IT priorities and delivery status to the business.
The Service & Repair Business Analyst is responsible for supporting our Service & Repair business unit in gathering requirements within the Oracle eBusiness Suite of applications. Modules to include: Depot Repair, Field Service, iSupport, Service Contracts
Duties/Responsibilities:Effectively manage the change control process, gathering requirements and communicate priorities for our management team. Support the development, implementation and usage of information technology and management information systems. Manage development projects of varying magnitude and ensure the analysis, testing and timely implementation of technology and/or processes. Collaborates with Service and Repair and IT management in the design, development, and deployment of the organization's Oracle 11.5.9 eBusiness suite of applications. Support other functional areas of eBusiness suite, as required. Liaise with various business groups in the organization to facilitate implementation of new or improved business process requirements for all IT-related business, financial, and operations systems critical to core organizational functions. Provide consultation and training to staff on issues to ensure compliance. Effective management of internal client services - which allows all users to address questions, report problems, and submit requests related to IT production. Experience gathering and documenting business requirements is essential. Candidate must negotiate technical and non-technical solutions that both satisfy the business user and conform to the technical architecture. Documents and communicates changes throughout the user organization, supporting change management and compliance. Serve as a trainer, when needed. Escalate key business issues for quick resolution.
Requirements:Oracle Repair Depot eBusiness Suite experience: Depot Repair, Field Service, iSupport, Service ContractsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or other 4 year degree focusing on information technology Minimum 5 years, preferably in manufacturing, information technology experience Full knowledge of Systems Life Cycle development methodologies Strong use of MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Project, Visio)
