Business Unit Manager- Operations

Position responsible for the activities of the machine shop, assembly areas, manufacturing engineering, logistics and purchasing department in manufacturing instruments personally or through subordinate supervisors or managers. Must have 4 year degree from four-year college or university, 10 years related experience in manufacturing environment. Knowledge of six sigma and/or lean manufacturing methods a must.

This division is part of a very successful 1 billion dollar corporation. They manufacture Process and Analytical instruments primarily for the energy and oil field industries.

They are best known in the oilfield industry as the pioneer in developing and manufacturing oilfield cement test equipment. They are also suppliers of pipeline instrumentation including gravitometers, dead weight testers and gauges, gas chromatography units, BTU analyzers and liquid densitometers.
