CAC Senior Technical Trainer - Southeast

LG Electronics USA, Inc. is currently seeking a CAC Senior Technical Trainer – Southeast to join our Digital Appliance Division. This position will be based out of Atlanta, GA.

The position will be responsible for but not limited to the following:Participate in and conducts technical training programs on the application, installation and service of LG air conditioning products Determining training objectives  Write training programs, including outlines, text, handouts and tests Design laboratory exercises Lectures class on safety, installation, maintenance and repair of LG Air Conditioning equipment, following outlines, handouts and texts Administers written and practical exams and writes performance reports to evaluate trainees’ performance Familiar with a variety of technical concepts, practices, and procedures related to air conditioning products Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Performs a variety of complicated tasks May lead and direct the work of others

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:                                                                   % of time

Conduct technical  training courses on LG Air Conditioning products

Provide technical support for commercial air conditioning applications, commissioning and service

Communicate with customer technical staff on LG product related technical questions

Inspect problem air conditioning field applications as needed

Educational Requirements:

Bachelors Degree

 

Skills/Qualifications:

7 – 10 years technical training experience on residential, light commercial and/or heavy commercial air conditioning products or an associates degree in applied HVAC sciences or

5 years of practical field experience in the installation and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment or 5 years employment by an air conditioning manufacturer in a technical support role

Must have excellent communication and written skills, including presentation skills

Must be skilled in Microsoft Power point, Excel and Word

Must be comfortable and proficient in handling details and documenting business activities  

 

 

Up to 65% travel may be required for this position
Some reasonable lifting of air conditioning equipment (less the 75 lbs)
A type II EPA-CFC certification program must be completed by the end of the new hire’s probationary period
A background check will be conducted on any successful candidate considered for this position.
