Summary:The corporate CAD group develops design kits and methodologies based on advanced process technology nodes to help Lattice creating world-class FPGA and CPLD products. Our team is seeking experienced engineer who is very strong in working with IC design tools and methodologies. In this role, you will participate in the creation of the design kits to help products development groups.Accountabilities:' Develop and support layout verification flows and methodologies for advanced technologies using in the product development of FPGA.' Support IC design tools and methodologies. Use programming languages to automate the creation of design kits.' Support usage of mainstream EDA tools.' Support design data management to effectively share design projects across multiple design sites.' Participate in CAD projects that contribute to productivity of design teams. Qualifications:' BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Sciences.' 8+ years experience in using and supporting design tools. Must have strong background in layout verification tools such as Calibre. Must be familiar with schematic and layout designs, and debugging verification issues. Knowledge of netlist formats such as CDL, SPICE is required.' Ability to program in C/C++, Perl. Knowledge of SKILL language is a plus.' Experience with Cadence, Mentor Graphics design tools is required.' Must be detail-oriented and enjoy the challenges of solving difficult problems in design methodologies.' Good communication skill is required.' Ability to work in multi-team projects.' Familiar with circuit simulation tools and methods is a plus.
