Hitachi Home Electronics (America), Inc., a leading manufacturer of flat panel televisions, camcorders, and other consumer electronics, has an immediate opening in its Chula Vista office for a:

 CLAIMS AND REPORTING SPECIALIST 

The qualified candidate will be responsible for:

 

· Compiling sales information and audits claims in order to determine validity of price protection and correction credits using SAP. 

· Assists Credit Dept. on reconciling dealer credit issued relating to pricing.

· Exports reports from SAP to Microsoft Excel and/or Access for the summarizing and presentation of the data. 

· Manages a daily and monthly schedule of reporting and ensures all communication of such reporting is done timely and accurately.

 

Requires exceptional PC skills including database, spreadsheet and word processing. Mid to advanced level in Access and Powerpoint, a plus. Must have superior aptitude with numbers and strong statistical analysis skills. Advanced Excel skills a must to utilize the following advanced level skills in Excel on a daily basis:

 

· Creating/editing PivotTables

· Using VLOOKUP, ISNA and other informational and reference functions

· Sorting/subtotaling data

· Using and applying (not necessarily writing) macros

 

A Bachelor's Degree (BA) from a four-year college or university (preferably in Sales Administration, Business Management or Project Management or three to five years in sales analysis experience.
