Calibration Technician

Large Defense company is looking for a Calibration Technician.



Perform calibration, alignment and repair of complex electronic measurement and test equipment in the disciples of LF/DC, Capacitance,

Inductance, Resistance, and general purpose Electrical/Electronics.   Must have component level theory of  operation of RF signal sources, oscilloscopes, obsolete/ unusual electronic equipment.

Responsible for troubleshooting/ repairing, soldering to component level utilizing schematic, wire lists.  Researching compatible replacement parts for obsolete/unusual electronic equipment.

 

 

Formal PMEL training/PMEL experience.

AS degree or equivalent technical school / military training in the Metrology field considered.  Minimum 5 years experience in calibration and repair of electronic measurement and test equipment (M&TE).

Knowledge of ANSI/NCSL-Z540, ISO 17025 Calibration Standards.

Computer literacy.  Ability to interpret technical instructions/specifications/complex schematics.



Strong self motivator.



Must be a US Citizen and able to pass a drug and background check.
