Camera Product Manager (Megapixel IP Cameras)

The Camera Product Manager for Megapixel IP Cameras is responsible for both product development and product marketing. This includes managing the product throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, to deliver winning products. It also includes working with sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager's job also includes ensuring that the product and marketing efforts support the company's overall strategy and goals.

The Camera Product Manager is expected to: Define the product strategy and development roadmap Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples Be an expert with respect to the competition Deliver MRDs and PRDs with prioritized features and corresponding justification Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and development opportunities including peripherals and accessories.Perform product demos and training to customers Brief and train the sales force at quarterly sales meetings Develop sales tools and collateral Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product Set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals Deliver a monthly revenue forecast by product typePropose an overall product budget to ensure success Act as a product leader within the company

Required experience and knowledge:3 to 5 years experience as a Product Manager or Product Marketing Manager Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products 5+ years of experience in a job in the security or CCTV industry Excellent written and verbal communication skills Bachelor's degreeTechnical background, with experience in security engineering, imaging or other technical discipline preferredExcellent teamwork skills Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time Examples and at least one sample of an effective document delivered in the past

Key Initial Responsibilities:Develop/OEM a complete dome line for megapixel IP including indoor, outdoor, mini, and vandal configurationsDevelop/OEM a complete environmental enclosure line including indoor and outdoor configurationsExpand and evaluate megapixel lens offeringDevelop prepackaged camera/lens/housing configurations and process to manufactureAssist in managing OEM relationships and custom configurationsCreate A&E specifications for entire product rangeDevelop instruction manuals and technical product informationEstablish a bar-coding process for all products
