Change Control and Documentation Manager

Zetec, Inc. is currently seeking candidates for the full-time role of Change Control and Documentation Manager. This is a new position responsible for multi-site change management, process development and documentation for the Technology and Supply Chain organizations. This includes the organization, coordination and oversight of bill-of-material creation and transfer of development stage / prototype products to manufacturing.  Position will directly supervise the work of 2 or more individuals in a matrix-team environment.

ESSENTIAL TASKS & DUTIES:

                                         

·         Lead a team to implement and complete critical global documentation control policies, procedures and best practices (Revision Control, Document Archiving, and other key processes). Drive development and execution in a timely manner.

·         Establish goals & objectives for the Documentation Control group to drive process improvements. Establish metrics that are clearly aligned with process performance.

·         Manage the team to establish operational rhythm. Communicate to the leadership team project status and key delivery/commitment dates.

·         Work with the cross-functional leaders to ensure that project commitments are understood and delivered on time.

·         Establish Change Control Board at the local and project levels to monitor and maintain integrity in changes under consideration.

·         Ensure the tools used for version control, requirements management, and change control result in meticulous documentation control.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

The employees holding this position will have access to NOFORN materials and thus will be subject to Zetec government contract requirements including U.S. citizenship.

 

·         10+ years of experience working in the field of manufacturing and/or engineering, including work in the field of technical documentation and/or change management

·         2+ years experience supervising a team of individual contributors

·         MRP experience in a manufacturing environment

·         Familiar with electro-mechanical assemblies and/or equipment

·         Effective written and verbal communication skills

·         Ability to handle frequent interruptions and shifting priorities

·         Capable of working independently with minimal supervision and employ effective time management skills

·         Develops & maintains a familiarity with Zetec’s product line

·         Emphasizes attention to detail and accuracy

·         Ability to read blueprints

·         PC experience including but not limited to ERP systems and MS-Office tools

·         Bachelors degree in manufacturing or engineering or the equivalent combination of education and training is required
