Chemist, Electronic Materials & Processes

ACI, a leading edge technology company specializing in electronics manufacturing R&D, analytical services, and training, is seeking an experienced chemist to perform various analytical lab services in support of our customers' needs and also participate in government sponsored applied R&D projects related to improvements in materials and processes used in the manufacturing of electronic systems.

 Requirements:A minimum of a B.S. in Chemistry (organic, inorganic, physical, analytical, polymer) with a graduate degree preferred and five years of related experience. Familiarity with testing the reliability of Materials: Temperature Cycle, HAST (Highly Accelerated Stress Test), HALT (Highly Accelerated Life Test), Thermal Shock, Vibration testing, Temperature Humidity Bias (THB)Familiarity with materials analysis techniques:  Ion Chromatography, Ionograph, FTIR, XRF, Decapsulation, Cross-sectioning, SEM, EDS, Wetting Balance, Shear Test, Pull Test, X-ray, DSC, TGAAbility to interface with customers on analytical matters Ability to produce complete, accurate, and professional project reports Independent, results driven individual
