Location: Bolingbrook, IL Employment Type: Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project Expected Duration: 2+ to 5 Years Pay Rate: 40.00 - 50.00 USD /hour Reference Code: 1001054944 We are looking for a Circuit Design Engineer for a 2 month (extension likely) contract opportunity in the SW suburbs of Chicago.This person will be responsible for all elements of several hardware design projects from requirements, circuit board design, sourcing, manufacturing, through verification and validation and finally into production.  Projects involve development or interface with power circuits or power supplies.  Other responsibilities include: layout design for integrated circuits (IC) according to engineering specifications using computer-assisted design (CAD) equipment, review and analyze engineering design schematics and supporting documents, such as logic diagrams and design rules to plan layout of IC.  Confer with engineering staff to resolve design details or problems. Required Skills and Experience:* Bachelors in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 3 years experience in circuit design * Experience with design of power supply circuits * Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Access) applications * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a larger development team * Takes initiative, is eager to learn and has attention to detail required to produce a high quality product * Must be self-motivated, creative, focused, accountable and have a strong follow-through to drive a project to completion within the timeframe established * Strong project management skills and the flexibility to multi-task in managing multiple projects with rapidly changing priorities and deadlines, and multiple sources of information * Must possess excellent, professional oral and written English communication skills to work in a collaborative team environment * Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving/trouble-shooting skills with the ability to take appropriate action when required * Willingness to seek out and respond to feedback regarding work product or work style Familiarity with CAD design, particularly AutoCAD 2006 (or similar )and circuit board layout software tools Contact: PLEASE E-MAIL RESUMES TO: Apply by Email
