Cognos Developer/Stored Procedures
McKinley is recruiting for one of our best clients, for a direct hire position, located in Plymouth, MN. This position involves a combination of skills in the Business Intelligence area with an emphasis on Cognos development (possible migration to Business Objects) and writing stored procedures. You will work in a cross-functional environment with leading edge technologies. The local IT group supports a broad base of users and is part of a large international organization.
Skill requirements include strong Cognos (Report Net), Cognos 8.1.2, (exposure to Business Objects is a plus), minimum of 2-3 years writing stored procedures, and any experience with Java development would also be a plus. Teaching/training/mentoring skills in the Business Intelligence area is highly desired. Ability to work in cross-functional role, interfacing with business applications developers, database administration, within a strong test environment on a variety of large projects.
