Timely and accurate completion of the month-end financial close. Prepare/support monthly forecast process. Identify issues and proactively initiate analyses and corrective action where necessary. Prepare all post closing plant financial analyses, performance reports and commentary. Maintain and analyze product standard costs and margins. Participate as an active member of the local plant management staff to establish an environment of continuous improvement. Actively support SOX compliance through self-assessments and period audits. Ensure the plant is compliant with all Company Finance and Accounting policies. Oversee and reconcile annual physical inventory counts as well as periodic cycle count audits. Prepare and coordinate the annual budget for the plant. Support the analytical needs of the Division Controller and senior corporate management.Minimum Qualifications: 5-7 years experience as a Plant Controller in a manufacturing setting. Proven ability to work as a strategic partner with both local and corporate management. Advanced computer skills, familiarity with Oracle and Hyperion a plus.
