Cost/Staff Accountant

Responsible for:Month end close process including inventory valuation and verification, cost of sales reconciliation. Other cost of sales classification-Variances, gross margin analysis & balance sheets reconciliation.Partnering with operations to provide a weekly and monthly internal report and analysis and look for ways to improve process and procedures with Cost Accounting.Establish financial controls i.e. Inventory Management reporting, root cause/corrective actions.Compile, analyze and report operational results and performance metrics (revenues by product line and customer, departmental costs, product costs)Develop forecast and budget models, performing trend and cost-benefit analyses, providing financial consultation to business units including developing or revising projections based upon significant business changes.Design, develop and prepare accurate and timely reports and analysis.Provide variance explanations during the monthly accounting close.

Requirements:Bachelors degree or higher in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or Finance. Preferably prior experience in Semi-Conductor Company.
