Counter Sales Representative - Electrical, Comm/Data Distribution

Responsibilities Sell merchandise to customers over the counter, utilizing knowledge of product sold. Suggest selections that meet customers' needs, and emphasize selling points of article such as quality and utility. Prepare sales slip, Receive payment or obtain credit authorization. Place new merchandise on display. Review and maintain counter inventory levels. Recommend new stocl items by completing necessary forms. Maintain security of cash drawer and shipping ticket audit copies. Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. One to three years related sales and warehouse experience preferred. Thorough knowledge of warehousing and office routing procedures preferred. Ability to work with customers.Final candidates are subject to a thorough background investigation (education, employment, criminal records check, etc.) and a pre-employment drug screen.
