Customer Service Representative – Job Description

 

 

X10 is expanding its Customer Support department. Immediate openings exist for all qualified candidates! Applicants are needed for the following shifts: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm & 12:30-9:00pm.

Responsibilities:

 

X10's Customer Support department is responsible for meeting the service and support needs of its customer base.  You would be on the phone most of the day answering calls about orders or products that the customer has purchased.

 

The paid training period allows one to develop an extensive knowledge of the latest in modern home automation and home security products while applying his or her technical skills assisting customers with the use of products and troubleshooting technical problems over the phone and via e-mail.

 

Qualifications

 

Qualified applicants will have strong verbal and interpersonal skills, must be quick-thinking, and highly motivated. Requisite skills include a working knowledge of basic computing, and a typing speed of at least 40 wpm.

 

Compensation & Benefits

 

Wages start at $10 per hour with the immediate opportunity for increase. Additionally, opportunities for significant compensation through sales commission are immediately available and encouraged. Comprehensive benefits take effect after 90 days of employment (medical, vision, dental, vacation, sick, holiday, etc).
