Customer Technical Support Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Customer Technical Support Engineer to support our Mobile Phone chip set business from our Allentown, PA office
Responsibilities:
· Provide technical support to customers, including knowledge of Infineon mobile platform products, low level software, and hardware
· Assisting customer and Infineon engineering project team in identifying, tracking, and solving problems
· Interface with our customers and Infineon Engineering teams
· Alignment of features and new concepts, assisting customers with system architecture early in the development cycle
· Support customers with the new and existing products. Analyze and resolve customer technical issues.
· Provide on-site customer/operator support on all issues: Design, PTCRB, GCF, FTA, IOT, Field Test and Production
· Provide customization/integration (ie, RF, HW Driver, MMI) support
· Manage regions Customer Database, track issues and follow up resolution process including communication with customer (calls, issue reviews, etc.)
· Release management: make Customer specific SW and patch deliveries and maintain the Customer Release Database
· Production Support: Production Issue Resolution, CAR analysis, manage Device Quality Issues
Requirements:
· MSEE or equivalent
· 5+ years GSM/EDGE/WCDMA system debugger; Mobile device phone architecture design or mobile phone reengineering
· Proven experience in PTCRB /GCF /FTA procedure for GSM /WCDMA /HSDPA mobile devices
· Proven experience in System debugging of mobile devices ( phones, data cards )
· Experience with Layer 2 and 3 protocol stack software, ideally also L1 and physical layer of cellular wireless systems
· Self motivated team player
· Excellent communication skills in English
