At present, we have an excellent opportunity for a Data Analyst in our Melville, NY location. As a Data Analyst in our Component Data Management team, you will be working to maintain complete and accurate master component data to support Arrow's global businesses. This includes analysis and normalization of numerous fields of component information for millions of parts across many technologies. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - In-depth data analysis to identify issues, such as data inconsistencies and defects - Report creation to support research and analysis - Developing processes to help identify and anticipate data issues - Data testing and quality review - Maintenance of technical component dataBASIC QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical training and experience - 3+ years relational database analysis and experience - SQL Coding, Advanced Excel and Access - Strong analytical abilities, high attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to manage and prioritize numerous tasks simultaneously - Effective written and verbal communication skills PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Oracle/Product Lifecycle Management experience - Master Data Management experience - Electronic component industry or distribution experience - Project management experience We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, which includes tuition reimbursement, employee stock ownership plan, health and dental plans, 401(k), and a unique sabbatical program.
