We endeavor to become a "Customer Value Creation Company" that provides safety, security, comfort and convenience in line with our visions of contributing to a ubiquitous networking society and coexisting with the global environment.Panasonic is seeking to hire a full time Dealer Representative-Certified for the Panasonic Consumer Electronics Company in the Central Territory.Primary responsibilities will include selling to dealers and systems integrators within the assigned territory. Must create End-User demand and grow the revenue base in the assigned geographic territory. Must be able to grow revenue base in all product categories including hardware, software, and services. Must manage the performance of dealers in the territory, assuring they develop and execute programs. Ability to communicate, make presentations at a C level, develop a strong funnel, accurately forecast, and the ability to use Excel are a must. Must be willing to travel extensively. Candidate needs strong networking, telephony, and channel development experience1. Selling/Account Mgmt./Customer Service a. Attain minimum of 100% of assigned sales quotab. Develop business relationships with distributors and dealers through close communications and personal visitsc. Promote new and key products to this customer base through demonstrations and presentations.d. Develop and manage sales and marketing programs to increase awareness & demand for products within the assigned territorye. Maintain records of customer information & performance. Establish goals and track performance to objectives. Obtain names and contacts with all open distributorsf. Recruit dealers to maximize penetration and share within the territoryg. Manage customer service issues to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and retentionh. Responsible for developing annual business plans that will include but is not limited to; annual sales budgets, marketing communications programs, sales promotions, quarterly business reviews, and trainingi. Identify the need for promotional materials and programs to enhance the dealer's and distributor?s market position and improve selling strategy. j. Provide corrective actions and recovery plans if results are not at or above target2. Prospect Development a. Develop & identify new end user opportunities through prospecting and distributor calls and demos to meet the company objectives of pipeline development. b. Create and develop a Top Fifty list of targeted key dealersc. Attend trade shows and events to identify new prospectsd. Establish relationships with Partners to expand sales reach and prospect base3. Planning Administration a. Work with distributors to coordinate effective promotions, and gather product planning input. Attend required sales conference callsb. Give thorough market feedback to managementc. Give a high degree of attention to distributor ASM d. Plan activities, agendas, programs with achieving business budget always in minde. Develop sales and marketing plans with distributor reps to improve sales of all open distribution product4. Product Knowledge a. Maintain a high level of product technical knowledgeb. Maintain a high level of competitive product awarenessc. Stay with changes in technologies and communicate this knowledge on to your dealers/customersMANAGEMENT:Managing all aspects of the dealer business with Panasonic, concisely and professionally and ensure that the territory has the optimum number of capable authorized resellers and partners to maximize the revenue opportunities in the territory.PROBLEM-SOLVING/KNOW HOW: Exercising judgment in presenting and selling the best product to the customer to solve their problem or get their job done. Ability to work through technology and service related problems. Effectively navigate the internal organization to resolve issues and customer requirements. B.S. in business preferred. Extensive travel required.COMMUNICATIONS: This is the key ingredient for success in this position. Must constantly communicate with customers, dealers, management, and internal personnel in a very clear and positive manner. This requires very professional conversation, presentation, and problem solving skills.
