Specialization is flexible and innovative services to fulfill customers' end-to-end communication needs with maximum clarity and control. Focus is on multi-site organizations in Europe, US and Asia Pacific with substantial European operations. BT Global Telecom Markets is pursuing a new mission and strategic direction to move from supplying commodity wholesale services to providing premium wholesale and 21CN Operator services to xSPs, fixed and mobile operators.  Role Purpose:The role holder delivers excellent customer satisfaction by selling standard products from the desk, as opposed to face-to-face. Sales are initiated by either an inbound or outbound call, e-mail, or referring leads from the field sales or pricing requests from the Standard Pricing Team. Business is primarily closed via phone, e-mail or fax. The role holder will maintain and service a defined customer base, and will be tasked to achieve revenue and account targets for this customer base.  Business Impact: Defend revenue for BT by closing orders, either as part of an overall account team or closing individual orders where acting as the single point of contact.  Responsible for delivering against individual revenue targets as well as impacting on customer satisfaction.   Key Tasks and Responsibilities: To coach and monitor team and individual performance, set team and individual targets, monitor attendance and deal with people management issues.  To be personally responsible for a large number of smaller sized accounts in an account management capacity, or to support standard products business for designated larger accounts as part of an overall account team.  To deliver Bandwidth, Switchless Reselling, Dial IP, and lower complexity MPLS. To ensure all documentation is completed to the required standard, using predefined guidelines. Processing Move/Add and Change orders as required by existing contracts with predefined customers. To ensure prompt and accurate submission of offers to customers. To ensure prompt and accurate processing of customer orders in accordance with agreed timescales and standards. To solicit feedback from customers on GTM’s pricing (and competitiveness) following offer/pricing submission.   Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field. Minimum 1 year of experience in sales or customer service leadership capacity. Minimum 2 years of experience in desk based selling, and delivering against a multi-channel strategy. Professional approach to team and client relationships. Track record of delivering against revenue targets.  Good awareness and knowledge of all low / medium complexity products and services in core business areas. Knowledge of relevant ICT areas. Bilingual candidates desired.  Existing Authorization to work in the United States is required. Relocation support is not currently available for this position. BT is an Equal Opportunity Employer. See Job Description
